Wednesdays 10, 17, 24 April and 1 May 2024 1pm to 4pm Have you ever wanted to create your own paintings but don't know where to start? Or do you love to draw but have been hesitant to take the next step into painting? Drawing skills or not, you can jump into this acrylic painting course. It is a great introduction into the world of painting. This short course will provide you with skills to create your own artworks. This short course will be conducted over 4 sessions x 3 hours. Please arrive a few minutes before the class so we can start on time. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: - How to begin your painting from your base to the finishing touches - Learn how to break down your reference so you know what stage to paint it - Composition - Colour mixing - Techniques in brush work - Tips on preserving your work, caring for brushes ...and more! We will have lessons, a series of exercises and create a custom painting with your chosen photo reference. SKILL LEVEL: Suitable for beginners WHAT TO BRING: Pen, pencil and paper or notebook Snacks and/or beverage Optional - Tablet or phone for photo references (if you'd like to pick your own reference) WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE: - A sampling of printed photo references - Use of acrylic paints, brushes, and other necessary painting equipment - Small canvas board and canvas pad - Self-serve tea and coffee Due to the nature of the classes and limited places, attend the full course to get the full benefit. Check your diary before booking and read our T&Cs. PAYMENT OPTIONS: You can pay in full or "Pay in 4" through PayPal at the checkout. After you have gained these basic skills and would like to have the space and time for regular art practice, we have Casual Classes on Thursdays. Policies - Please read

Booking policy Partial or full payment denotes agreement of terms and conditions. To rebook, make sure to contact Zanne Art Studio by phone or email (written notice is preferred in addition to calling us). Rebookings are processed as store credit. Please note, rebooking has to be redeemed within six months or else it will be forfeited. All sales are final. Refunds will be granted only under extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of Zanne Art Studio. Important: we are very strict on ‘no shows’. If a customer does not show up for the class, we’ll still charge the full amount. We are unable to refund, reschedule or provide credit for a missed session. Rebooking less than 48 hours before the session attracts a $10 fee per seat. Send an email to contact@suzannebalanay.com to rebook. If for any reason the session has to be cancelled by us ( e.g. government directive, illness, etc), we will refund you. Casual Classes All sales are final, no refunds. If purchasing a block of 6 tickets, you can use it when you attend. However, please let us know when you are coming 24 hours beforehand as we need to setup the studio for numbers coming. Failure to inform us and no shows will forfeit your payment. Please contact us by emailing contact@suzannebalanay.com or calling Suzanne on 0401 875 841. Only paying guests will be allowed in the studio during our sessions. Please do not enter our studio if you are feeling unwell. ​Photo and Video - I agree to give Zanne Art Studio unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Zanne Art Studio events . These will only be used on Instagram, Facebook and the website to help promote future events and show others the wonderful time we have at Zanne Art Studio. If you do not want your image published, please inform your art instructor, Suzanne, on the day. Liability Waiver In purchasing a booking to Zanne Art Studio you agree to the following: - I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in any event organised by Zanne Art Studio - I agree to take on full responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Zanne Art Studio areas - I agree to take on full responsibility for any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any event organised by Zanne Art Studio.
