About this class

Create a textured and realistic floral painting. We will provide you with printed photo references of different flowers or let us know what your favourite flower is. I'll check to make sure it is suitable for this particular workshop. Expand your skills with this in-depth painting session where your art instructor, Suzanne, will teach you techniques and you leave with your very own special work of art. There are limited spots so book in now. Suitable for any level of experience, ages 16 and up. Small class: Maximum of 8 participants. This class will have to reach a minimum number for it to proceed. 2-day workshop, total 6 to 7 hours includes: 1st day - techniques and skills will be taught - sketch using grid method (making it manageable even for beginners). If you've chosen pre-sketched, you can arrive an hour later. You can still arrive on time and be part of the lesson. - application of modelling paste to allow for overnight drying 2nd day - painting session with individual guidance and feedback to help you achieve the best possible outcome for your painting *Pre-sketched canvas option: If you are not confident enough to do your own sketch, choose the pre-sketched canvas option at checkout. Book 7 days or more before for this option. Additional $30. What is provided: - Quality materials - Choose between 40 x 50cm or 45 x 45 square double thick canvas (​38mm frame depth). The deeper sides can be hung unframed and painting continued on the sides for extra impact. - Your station with modelling paste, acrylic paints, easel, palette, brushes, apron as you never know what might happen so wear paint-friendly clothing. - Complimentary tea and coffee What to bring: - You are welcome to bring some refreshments. Fridge is available to keep your drinks cool. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session so we can start on time. Please note: If you do not finish your painting in the time allotted, you can book into a casual class.

Policies - Please read All sales are final, no refunds. If you cannot attend your session, make sure to rebook more than 72 hours in advance. Rebooking less than 72 hours attracts a $30 fee pp. No shows forfeit your payment. Bookings are transferrable. Contact us by phone or email to let us know. Redeem re-bookings within 6 months or be forfeited. If for any reason the session has to be cancelled by us, we will refund you. Guests, staff health and safety are important to us. Please do not enter if feeling unwell. We have limited space so only paying guests will be allowed in studio during sessions. However if you want to accompany a minor, call us on 0401 875 841 or email contact@suzannebalanay to enquire if we have space for you as sessions differ. In booking to Zanne Art Studio you agree to the following: - agree to give us unrestricted publishing rights for any photos or videos taken. If you don't want your photo taken, please inform us on the day. - agree to take on full responsibility: for any damages, injuries, physical and/or personal property, which might incur whilst participating in any event; for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property; for any physical injuries sustained in studio areas.
