Resilient, delicate, stunning... The Himalayan blue poppy grows in harsh conditions. In a way, it describes my process with this watercolour. Stunning: I was instantly captured when I saw a photo of these poppies in a Facebook group I'm in where photographers generously share with artists. Delicate: I stopped painting halfway as I found it too challenging and felt overwhelmed. Resilient: I didn't give up though and finished this a year from when I started. I'm so happy that I did because I love the result. I hope you do too.
