This website is owned and operated by Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors original artworks, prints of these works and art lessons/sessions. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Accuracy of content
We have taken proper care and precautions to ensure that the information we provide on this website is accurate. However, we cannot guarantee, nor do we accept any legal liability arising from or connected to, the accuracy, reliability, currency or completeness of anything contained on this website or on any linked site.
Use
The website is made available for your use on your acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions. By using this website, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. You agree that you will use this website in accordance with all applicable local, state, national and international laws, rules and regulations.
You agree that you will not use, nor will you allow or authorise any third party to use, the website for any purpose that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene or in any other way inappropriate or in a way which conflicts with the website or the services.
Currency and Pricing
All amounts stated on our website are in Australian Dollars. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.
Purchasing
When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.
The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.
All sales of original artworks are final.
eGift Cards
eGift Card purchases are final. Cancellations/refunds cannot be provided for mistakes or change of mind.
The gift voucher is redeemable at Zanne Art Studio for a painting party (paint and sip). For any details, go to www.suzannebalanay.com/painting-parties. This voucher is in the Zanne Art Studio system and is single use. To redeem, contact Suzanne by emailing contact@suzannebalanay.com or phone 0401 875 841. State what session you would like to book including your details (name, email and mobile phone number). We will book you in and you will receive a confirmation letter. Please book more than 24 hours before session, even earlier if you want to secure your spot. We cannot book you into a fully booked session. If the session costs more than the value of the voucher, you must pay the excess using another payment method. No change will be given for any remaining gift voucher value. Any remaining balance can be used as credit for future bookings. Gift vouchers are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards. You cannot obtain any cash or receive any remaining value in cash. Your gift voucher will be valid until the expiry date stated. Please redeem before the expiry date, after which it will be invalid. Delivery/Shipping policy
All print orders are processed on demand within 5 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
There will be potential delays when order volume is high as well as postal services which is outside of our control.
• Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. As of now, shipping will be only within Australia. If you are very interested but overseas, please contact Suzanne at contact@suzannebalanay.com and we will see what we can do.
Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days.
• Local Pick Up
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at the Kuraby studio. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 7 to 10 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
•How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 12 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@email.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at contact@suzannebalanay.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Refunds and exchanges on Products from the Shop (Purchase Page)
Subject to the following clause, and to the fullest extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio gives no warranty in respect of the Products listed in the Shop.
All Products come with non-excludable warranties and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law in that they are reasonably fit for their usual purpose, are of acceptable quality, and match any description or sample. If Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio breaches any of these non-excludable warranties or guarantees, you are entitled, at your option, to a refund or replacement of the relevant Products.
Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio is unable to refund or exchange your Products if you make an error when ordering online, or you change your mind.
To arrange a refund or exchange of Products breaching a non-excludable warranty or guarantee:

Once we have confirmed your refund or exchange, we will provide a postage label for you to return the Product to us.

Once we have received your Product, we will process your refund or ship the replacement Product to you.
Creative Licence
Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio retains sole and exclusive rights to the creative licence of artworks on this website.
Indemnification for loss or damage
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any and all liabilities or expenses arising from or in any way related to your use of this website or the services or information offered on this website, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and solicitors’ fees of every kind and nature incurred by you or any third parties through you.
Intellectual property and copyrights
We hold the copyright to the content of this website, including all uploaded files, layout design, data, graphics, articles, file content, codes, news, tutorials, videos, reviews, forum posts and databases contained on the website or in connection with the services. You must not use or replicate our copyright material other than as permitted by law. Specifically, you must not use or replicate our copyright material for commercial purposes unless expressly agreed to by us.
Trademarks
The trademarks and logos contained on this website are trademarks of Suzanne S. Balanay/Zanne Art Studio. Use of these trademarks is prohibited except with our express written consent.
Limitation of Liability
The content and statements made on this website are made by way of general comment only and you should satisfy yourself as to their accuracy. Further, all of our Services are provided without a warranty with the exception of any warranties provided by law. We are not liable for any damages whatsoever, incurred as a result of or relating to the use of the website or our Services.
Zanne Art Studio Policies
Booking policy
Partial or full payment denotes agreement of terms and conditions.
To rebook, make sure to contact Zanne Art Studio by phone or email (written notice is preferred in addition to calling us). Rebookings are processed as store credit. Please note, rebooking has to be redeemed within six months or else it will be forfeited. Please see below for public or private event rebookings as there will be differences.
All sales are final. Refunds will be granted only under extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of Zanne Art Studio.
Important: we are very strict on ‘no shows’. If a customer does not show up for the class, we’ll still charge the full amount. We are unable to refund, reschedule or provide credit for a missed session.
Cancellation Policy
Public Booking / Events / Workshops / Art Classes
All sales are final, no refunds. If you cannot attend your session, make sure to rebook at least 48 hours in advance. Rebooking less than 48 hours before the session attracts a $10 fee per seat. Unfortunately, "no shows" will forfeit your payment. However, bookings are transferrable and you can give your spot to a family member or a friend. Send an email to contact@suzannebalanay.com to let us know. Please note, rebooking has to be redeemed within six months or else it will be forfeited. Discounts do not apply to rebooked sessions. If for any reason the session has to be cancelled by us ( e.g. government directive, illness, etc), we will refund you.
To secure your private booking date and time, a payment deposit must be made. Full payment will be due 10 days or more prior. Private bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule or cancel, your deposit will be transferred to the new agreed date (between yourself and Zanne Art Studio) or processed as credit. If your private booking has been fully paid and it is more than 8 days before your session, we can reschedule to a suitable date. If you have to reschedule 4 to 7 days before, it will incur a $10 fee per person. As well as “no shows”, we are unable to reschedule within 3 days of your session and will forfeit your payment.
Casual Classes
All sales are final, no refunds. If purchasing a block of 6 tickets, you can use it when you attend. However, please let us know when you are coming 24 hours beforehand as we need to setup the studio for numbers coming. Failure to inform us will forfeit your payment. CovidSafe Policy
Guests and staff health and safety are important to us. Only paying guests will be allowed in the studio during our sessions. Please do not enter our studio if you are feeling unwell. Zanne Art Studio complies with health directives. Please refer to relevant government websites for guidance.
Photo and Video
- I agree to give Zanne Art Studio unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Zanne Art Studio events . These will only be used on Instagram, Facebook and the website to help promote future events and show others the wonderful time we have at Zanne Art Studio. If you do not want your image published, please inform your art instructor, Suzanne, on the day.
Liability Waiver
In purchasing a booking to Zanne Art Studio you agree to the following:
- I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in any event organised by Zanne Art Studio
- I agree to take on full responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Zanne Art Studio areas
- I agree to take on full responsibility for any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any event organised by Zanne Art Studio.
