When life gives you lemons, make lemon tea, smell the flowers and curl up with a good book.
A play on the proverb “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” this phrase holds a profound personal significance for me after experiencing challenging life circumstances. Lemons symbolise the sourness and bitterness inherent in life’s obstacles and difficulties. By discovering the strength within oneself and navigating through these trials, one transforms the lemons into a refreshing beverage, akin to lemon tea. This transformative process culminates in a serene and restorative moment, where the individual finds solace and recuperates, ultimately experiencing a sense of triumph and contentment.
