Book Private Events

Painting is always more fun with a group of friends! Want to put together your own group for a private Painting pARTy? Contact us to organise your own event.
You can choose from any of our available paintings and pick a date that works for you. You can even request a whole new painting for a small fee.
• These sessions includes the same as a public painting pARTy (paint & sip):
- 3 hours (includes breaks for drying time where needed)
- Artist-led step by step instruction
- 40 x 50 cm canvas
- your station with easel, palette, brushes, apron (you never know what might happen so wear paint-friendly clothing)
• Sessions will start at $55 while pre-sketched ones will be from $60 and up per person depending on complexity of sketch. Private bookings will also include a $30 admin fee.
• Choose the start, end time and proposed dates (at least 3 options). Make sure it doesn't coincide with scheduled painting parties, workshops and art classes.
Contact us far in advance to avail of preferable dates. Please note that Sunday mornings are not available for bookings.
• BYO drinks and food; all food and serving equipment should be provided by you.
• You can choose any of our paintings. You can also request a customised painting for a fee of $150. As it takes time to create one, you must book within a minimum of two weeks. Please send at least 3 photos for inspiration. If you would like to keep the customised sample painting, it will be an additional $150.
• Exclusive use of air-conditioned studio
• Glassware provided (sparkling/champagne, wine)
• Fridge and microwave available
• Beautiful garden to stretch out in during breaks or have your cuppa, weather permitting (Currently partially unavailable due to construction work. It'll be an even better space afterwards. So, thank you for your patience.)

How many people can I book for an event?
There is minimum of 7 attendees with a maximum of 18 (possibly 20).
Evening bookings (from 6pm) will require a higher minimum of 10 attendees.

Are children allowed?
Minimum age is 10 and must be accompanied and supervised by a paying adult for the duration of the session.

How do I book?
To discuss date availability and booking, contact Suzanne on contact@suzannebalanay.com. To secure your booking, a 30% deposit is required. Pay in full at least 10 days before event.

Can I request a discount for a higher number of attendees?
No. We already offer competitive prices. We are also a small home business that caters to intimate gatherings and offer quality instruction from a professional artist and provide quality materials.

What happens if I want to reschedule?
Sometimes things happen that we don't plan for - if you cannot attend your scheduled session, please contact us 8 days or more beforehand. If you reschedule a session less than 7 days prior, there will be a of $10 fee pp for rescheduling a session.

What happens if I want to cancel?
Please note that all bookings are non-refundable. They will be processed as credit.
Cancellation (rebooking) of bookings should be at least 8 days prior to event.
