About this class

IMPORTANT: Please read through before booking. Take your art to the next level with a professional artist in a casual space. Bring in your own work to our casual classes and it can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like! Casual classes are twice on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm and 4:15pm to 6:15pm. Dates for 2025: January - 15, 22, 29 February - 5, 12, 19, 26 March - 5, 12, 19 To book more than one class, book one date at a time and add to cart. Then go to cart to pay the total. Casual Classes are perfect for those who: - Want to create their own drawings or paintings at your own pace (You can come prepared with an idea what to draw or paint. I can also help you decide what to work on.) - Want guidance and feedback - Want time in a studio with like-minded people - Want a set time and place away from home to work on artworks - Want to improve on paintings from previous painting pARTies, workshops and classes Our Casual Classes are small in size to allow for as much time as possible with your art tutor. All skill levels are welcome. Options are: $50 - Tutored $54 - Tutored plus use of acrylic paints $59 - Tutored plus 30x40cm canvas and use of acrylic paints For your first attendance, I will assess your capability and see if this class will be suitable for you or if you need other classes to help you improve in a particular skill/s. What to bring: - Your own painting or drawing materials, any medium you would like to work with or purchase canvas and paints (choose option at checkout) - Your reference material to create your artwork from Note: Please avoid any strong-smelling mediums or solvents. What we provide: - Tutored: Guidance and feedback from art instructor, Suzanne - Palettes (bring your own for oils), aprons, water jars and tabletop easels - Self-serve tea and coffee - A friendly and supportive environment Please note: Artworks cannot be stored at the studio due to space limitations. No spray paints please.
